Here's where things get tricky, especially if you're a Democrat. Unlike a piece of legislation, these votes would only allow one vote per state, which means Trump would likely win, since both houses of Congress have more Republican "controlled" states than Democrat controlled states. Needless to say, if this plays out, there will likely be one gigantic $hit storm as the Dems would claim the election was stolen from them on a technicality. But, it might save Biden the embarrassment of being impeached and convicted for high crimes and misdemeanors.
