I am not a Libertarian, but some of my closest colleagues and friends are. And they are Austrian Economics scholars. So when they tell me that the certain parts in their area of expertise are extreme views, they're the best people to know. They're the ones doing the scholarship. It is their expertise.
But just one example is how how Tucker and Magness have found themselves stoking the misuse of the term "herd immunity" with regard to mask mandates. Both of them have been panned by epidemiologist and by more moderate Libertarian economists.
