The PRETENSE (and i think that is your question) would be the outdatedness and the lack of requirements for government action in the constitution.
Recall that the black marxist said the constitution is a list of "negative liberties". Obama is a marxist and not really all that bright and he noted that the document outlined what the government MAY NOT DO. (That was the point, ass whole.)
He and his fellow travelers want a new document to outline and prescribe what the government MUST DO.
Equality, inclusion, diversity, reparations, conformity and compassion.
The left would be fighting for fairness.
The right would be fighting in opposition to socialism and tyranny.
