Have worn contacts for 30 years, always worked great.
I'm 43 now, optometrist asks me how well I can see while reading up close. Tell them that it seems fine, I don't squint or anything.
She hands me a sample reader, with text at 20/20, 20/25, 20/30, etc. I can read the 20/20 text, its maybe not crystal clear, but seems fine.
She puts 2 lenses in front of me that are equivalent to generic 1x reading glasses...text becomes SUPER clear, like a significant improvement.
Goddamnit, I'm probably on course for bifocals in the next couple years, or at least doing contacts + reading glasses.
