What kind of Mic and Amp combo would you recommend for my son? He has been playing guitar almost two years now (he is 11) He has a Yamaha Electric guitar and line 6 amp. His music teacher wants him to start practicing signing into a mic and monitor like someone in a band would. So I am trying to find something to get him for Christmas.
He picks up songs so easily. I showed him STP on Howard Stern singing Led Zepplins "dancing days" last night, and he just picked up his guitar and starting playing it and had the whole song down in an hour.
