pickle's dishonesty and cowardice.
I admired Austrian economics & liked a lot of the articles on mises.org but the posts regarding anarchocapitalism on their discussion boards didn't seem to be nearly as well thought out to me.
In discussions on here I mentioned that on here. They seemed intriguing in some ways, but unlike the economic theory I didn't see how they held together logically, consistently and cogently. Pickle was happy to help explain it all to me and I was appreciative of that. The economic theory made great sense, certainly far more sense than the Keynesian junk that now undergirds our nation's economic policies.
He explained a little bit and gave me links to a few documents for a fuller explanation. Unfortunately, the theory still didn't hold together very well from my point of view. I think that largely had to do with my Christian beliefs vs pickle's atheistic beliefs. He thought Rothbard's view that parents should have a legal right to let their children starve to death or to sell them to whomever they wished for any reason they wished... or to kill them if they still lived in their mother's womb.
It was at that point that his dishonesty and deceptiveness really reared its ugly head. He would no longer dialogue in any semblence of a reasonable or rational fashion. He refused to answer questions, at first by trying to dance and dodge around the question to the point that he never really answered them at all, then by refusing to answer them outright, usually in a flurry of insults. What a puss.
In an earlier phase, when he was answering and semi-answering, he would claim that he never said something that I had asserted that he said. I would ask for clarification and he would refuse. I would search through his earlier posts, which could be time consuming and bring them up and he began to answer in ever more vague fashion while trying to hide behind a flurry of insults in lieu of reason or logic.
I finally started copying links &/or quotes of his so that I could pull up what he had said when he would later deny things. That made him really clam up and finally to come up with his "I don't discuss things with you Jeff." mantra.
Of course, now we see how dishonest that was. He still runs around trying to criticize me or to comically follow me around demanding that I answer some question of his or in this case of someone else, even as he runs and hides like the dishonest coward that he is from my questions.
It's a shame that he has sycophantic enablers such as yourself who try and run cover for him.
