1st in actuality I've only been disappointed with 1 year so far and that was last year. If most people would really consider what they thought would happen his 1st year and MPJ going down, the team really over performed. Considering all that happened the 2nd year that 1 went about as should have been expected. My opinion is last year should have been more in line with his 1st.
As far as the accumulation of talent I think it's been good enough. I think people are more so focused on who he hasn't gotten than what he's done with what he has gotten. That's been my problem. As a very good example I would ask people to refer to Tennessee's recruitment under Rick Barnes. It is very similar to what CM has done up to this point. It could be argued that CM has done better. Barnes has just gotten more out of what he's gotten. That's why this is a pivotal year to me. They have enough. The players performance have to be better and the coaching staffs has to do a better job putting them in position to do so. It seems to me CM has out sized leaning on the over achievers actually than the higher rated players. That's why my comments recently on conversations about recruiting are virtually non existent. As is the same for practice videos. I don't care about none of that until I see better with what he has. For me it's all about what happens on the floor this year.
