the certification process has not been completed. Per the constitution the election results become irrelevant and the House of Representatives elects the president.

But, individual house members do not each get 1 vote. Instead, each state gets one vote.

That would tend to favor the Republican candidate as ~ 35 states are considered to be Republican.
