On this Veteran's Day

First...thanks to many of our soldiers over the years that have sacrificed their lives (in terms of death, injuries, and just putting their lives on hold) over the 2+ centuries of this country.
My wish is that we change our military to a true defense organization. We remove the offensive part of our military, and we remove ourselves from the meddling of other countries' sovereignty.
I know this is unlikely because there is a huge complex that takes trillions of dollars and puts it into their pockets and war is now a business....but it would be nice if we built a solid defense of the homeland and stop destroying the lives of thousands of others and their property around the world in the name of "prevention".
