Mizzou’s bet was that Cuonzo could establish a program here. He only spent 3 years at each his first 3 HC jobs. He probably has 2 more years to show what he can do.

He’s basically doubled the average win total compared to where Mizzou was at when he was hired. Done that with major season ending injuries to NBA players in his first 2 seasons. Even if he fails here he’s put Mizzou in position to make an easier hire next time around.
