of a position of fear, it is hard to relate with those who do.
My mother in law is crazy scared of COVID. But as I think about it, she lives her life dominated by fear. Fear anytime there is a sickness it will be cancer. Fear her husband would lose his job. Fear in bad weather her house will be destroyed. Fear as she gets older she hasn’t been “good enough” and may not get to Heaven. And as I think about nearly every person I know obsessed with COVID precautions, they are much the same.
That would be a horrible existence. But if you know someone like this, the challenge is great. It is hard to reason with anyone dominated by fear.
