1. It is impossible to count 140million+ of anything without error.
2. It is clear that politicians and their ideologues will stop at nothing to win, including using nefarious means, in some instances.
3. It is not clear to what extent irregularities are errors, and to what extent irregularities are fraud.
4. Voting is a bedrock of our democracy, and must be protected, regardless of whether the person you voted for will win, or not.
5. To that aim, all irregularities must be investigated and clearly explained to the public, for the following purposes:
5a: To ensure that the public has confidence that the voting/election process is legitimate and not fraught with fraud, and
5b: To learn from current mistakes and/or vulnerabilities such that future elections are legitimate and the public perception of such is enhanced.
