this reality. Biden's win is clearly important but clearly no mandate. His party even lost House seats. Yes, he is a president but is politically, physically and by all counts mentally about as weak as one can be as he steps into office.
Without a Senate majority he cannot deliver on tax increases, packing the courts, DC statehood, etc. They will basically have to live with Trump's policies, with Biden as their voice and with no real target any longer to blame for it all.
I may buy more gin and scotch and just sit back for a while.
