What also will be interesting is what happens with the black vote over the next 4 years. Both parties have seen a slight shift, so will the Dems continue to take them for granted and blacks overwhelmingly blindly follow? Or will blacks expect more than just the biscuits they’ve been thrown and will republicans continue to cultivate that electorate into something that actually makes a difference on Election Day.
