regarding the PA ruling?
The PA ruling REQUIRES mailed ballots to contain a post-mark (the only issue regarding the post-mark is if in cases where it is illegible):
"In its Sept. 17 ruling, the divided state Supreme Court said ballots must be postmarked by the time polls close and be received by county election boards at 5 p.m. on Nov. 6, three days after the Nov. 3 election. It also said that ballots lacking a clear postmark could be counted unless there was evidence that they were mailed after the polls closed."
Simply put - PA established its voting regulations and you want the SC to re-write those rules.
I would agree that PA's rules aren't the best (IMO, they should begin tabulating mail-in ballots ahead of time, so that there's not a delay in reporting), but those are their rules.
