1. I love this O-line. They completely dominated this game. I haven't had a chance to rewatch yet but I counted at least 8 times where the O lineman, usually Borom, was blocking 10 to 15 yards downfield. A 10 minute drive and a 7 minute drive. You kidding me. They had the Kentucky defense worn out. I think I even heard a few whimpers from them over that idiotic screeching noise. I haven't seen an offense like this since the Blackwell, Rhino, Olivo, Corby days.
2. This defense is nasty. I'm talking running a 5k in Missouri summer jock smelling nasty. They hit hard and get to the ball fast. The D line is holding up the offense which gives our linebackers and safeties opportunities to make plays. I wouldn't be surprised if they are top 2 or 3 defense in SEC by the end of the year.
3. I am liking the discipline and self control of this team much better than last year. Except for the possible taunting by the entire team on the sideline after Rountree laid the hammer, I am seeing much less extra curricular stuff from these guys. Especially, late in the game yesterday, it looked like a few of the UK fellas were trying to get us into a ****ing match. Rakestraw was a good example. Young kid, and the receiver had been jawing at him all day. He just played the game.
4. What is our offensive identity. You always hear the talking heads alluding to 'a team finding their identity' I don't think we have one. And that can be very dangerous. We can ground it out, play the dink and dunk or we can go deep. Maybe our identity is that we're adaptable.
5. Matt Stinchcomb sucks ass
6. In two years Lane Kiffin will look exactly like Mark Mangino
