A couple of points that help Joe:

1) The deal process with China that is discussed in the emials/texts took place when Robinette was no longer VP (a private citizen)... was the drug addict just trying to get a larger cut by claiming part was for 'the Bug Guy"?

2) No deal was signed with the Chinese company and no money changed hands.
