today to even support 50% of the nearly 274 million cars in the US being electric.
It isn't until 2040 that electrics are expected, at best, to reach parity in sales with internal combustion engines.
Not only can we not generate enough renewable energy to handle electricity demands now, that isn't factoring in 274 million plus electric cars.
