Agree on most of the lineup, although 6 of the 9 are gimmes. Only RF, 2B, and 1B have any real drama.
Rollin will not play 2B. She will DH. A defensive minded coach like LA has seen enough to know Rollin will be an unnecessary liability wherever you play her in the field.
Whoever starts at 1B between Rabbe and Frizell, by the time SEC play rolls around Frizell will be the starter, and hopefully a fixture at the position for the next 4 years.
Chaumont really impressed me, and is as good a guess as any for the third OF position. But something tells me someone who you didn’t mention is going to step up and push her hard for playing time there.
That leaves 2B. Bailey could end up being the starter, but only if she improves her hitting. I’m looking for Nicholson to press her hard, and be the starter before too long. If not from the start of the season.
And the only pitcher who even remotely qualifies for a bounce back season is Dandola, and I hope you are right. Maybe she moves into Eli Daniels lock down closer role? Not a lot of starts available after Schumacher, Krings, and Weber get their chances.
