Very good pass catcher as well. Certainly an upgrade over all our backups. We're about middle of the pack rushing team right now and #2 in DVOA total offense. We don't need a savior, we just need more depth and small improvements here or there.
It's a great, cheap 1-year low risk signing. It also might net us a compensatory pick if he signs a big contract with another team next year after playing well with the Chiefs.
