was a pretty fair basketball player also, and held the intramural record in the Long jump for a lot of years, maybe still, I'm not sure! Very humble person, never acted like he was important, and he was very important! Herm Edwards has great stories. Before the Cards played Philly, word had spread that the Cardinals had a new shut-down corner, and Herm said the Eagles all laughed when they saw Roger before the game, but no one was laughing afterwards! I remember seeing Roger cover Bob Hayes 50 yards down the field, and Roger would be running backwards for the most part!
