Speaking specifically about the entire "if you remove one line item that is defunding that line item" logic?

So using that logic... does the militarization of the police ever end?

I'm 100% for paying cops more but that "more" comes with strings and expectations that our current police force a significant portion of the current police force in this country would fail to meet.
