His very first victory is a signature win and shows what should be heading our way in the future. An expectation that this could be a regular thing.

It took Pinkel till year 3 to beat Nebraska and longer to beat K-State, OU and Texas.

It took Barry until year 3, winning at the Swamp.

It took Larry Smith until year 4 to beat Texas and Colorado. He never beat Nebraska or K-State - the two real powers of the conference at that time.

Bob Stull never won any signature games.

For Drink to do it this early on, I do think it is going to be the key ignition to his career take off at Mizzou
