He inherited a poor Youngstown team, had a losing first season, went to the FCS title game in 16, and was 1-1-1 the following three seasons. Jim Tressel has their 4 National Championships in the 90s. He'd just signed another contract in 19 so they weren't tired of him either. So that's an easy statement to make but Youngstown was happy with the direction the team was going. He never had less than 9 wins at Nebraska (2 seasons), the rest 10 or better. Probably has a better collegiate record than Orgeron.
