Because the NCAA tournament, if it happens at all, won’t be until next year, in April 2021. And by that time, the B1G and PAC will be playing.

This fall only 4/32 conferences are playing, a grand total of just 49 teams. Although these games are supposed to count on each teams resume for selection to the tournament next year, which is truncated and will be a 48 team field instead of 64.

Mizzou is going to have a really good team in 20-21, but has zero chance to win a national title. There is just too much talent in those other two conferences, plus Texas.
