Do people not realize how a bye week works? And of course pickle the genius is completely wrong too.
If this week ends up being their bye week instead of week 10, then they've just spent all of it preparing for the Patriots instead of taking a few days off and leaving town which most teams do during bye weeks. So during their "bye week" this week, they've put in a full week of work for nothing, and then on Monday, they will be back working, preparing for the Raiders.
