It's like we've shifted the window so much that we forget that there's unprecedented amounts of mass crime incidents and violence in multiple cities is what used to be the threat.
Prior to like a half of a year ago could you imagine either party saying they wanted to:
-pack the supreme court
-add two states (including Puerto Rico where it's likely to be an absolute nightmare for the state itself and the citizens of that state) and completely eliminating the tool that was taken away by Clinton that once made it a much more prosperous place for the people. Puerto Rican citizens have voted for generations to maintain the status quo, so the powers that be (the "anti colonialization" people eliminated status quo as an option.) It's absolutely insane and almost completely disregards a group of 3 million people that will almost definitely be in for a long haul.
-Eliminating the filibuster just in case the four new senators weren't enough.
It's literally single party rule with true leftists in positions of power, including the VP, and a political advantage so strong that even the expected backlash from moderates in your party would keep the party protected.
And it's like nobody even mentions it.
-If I answer, than that becomes the issue.
Yeah, mother****er, it does. The fact that you won't answer seems almost as insane as the answer not being that you wouldn't do it.
