Hunter was in the Navy for under 2 whole months before flunking his drug test... He was given a Direct Commission as a Navy Ensign in May 2013 (at the ripe age of 44..after getting a waiver for a previous drug conviction) and failed his drug test in June 2013.

Had his pappy not been the VP, Hunter would NEVER have gotten a commission in any branch of the service at his age and with his documented drug use.
