The Tigers lose 38-19 to Bama in a game who's outcome was never in doubt and wasn't really that close.
Now Tiger fans have them beating Tennessee in Knoxville even though most professional observers have the Vols as the third best team in the SEC East and the bookies have them an 11.5 point favorite.
Just for the record, here's how the recent Tennessee and Mizzou recruiting classes have been ranking by 247 Sports:
Year: Tenn: MU:
2016 14 43
2017 17 43
2018 21 43
2019 13 37
That suggests Tennessee has a talent edge. But someone will no doubt post that coaching can offset recruiting rankings, that coaching can make a three star better than a four star.
Some things never change on the Tigerboard.
