him that imo, someone who knew NOTHING about ANYTHING, had no idea about the issues or the elements in this campaign would have seen the president of the united states act like an overbearing, bullying, rude, crude clod.

Trump was boorish and had no respect for the rules of decorum or the rules of debate.

Regrettably, the people who know nothing of the issues or elements of the campaign make up the majority of the electorate and the vast majority of the democrat voters. The media analysis will reinforce that perception.

{By the way, for those that think jb was the model of decorum and propriety, his beginning the debate by call the president a liar and then twice calling him a clown and telling him to shut up, were not the most elegant statements either. And for those of you who think joe would never behave badly, take another look at his debate with wimpy paul ryan. Biden was the arrogant, snarky, bully having his way with the rino.}

A couple quick take-aways:

1. Trump detests biden. He was glowering at him all evening. A look of near hatred in his eyes. Not a good visual for trump.

2. Trump knew as i said here y'day, that he would have to inject the topics of the $3.5mm from moscow, the court packing and the logan act that jb brought up to biden, if trump wanted those in the debate. He was right.

And did you see biden's deer in the headlights look when trump brought up the logan act conversation with obama...?

3. Chris wallace did a decent job. He was not going to ask the tough questions of biden about the durham report or his drug addled loser kid. He could have pushed harder on some biden's vague swamprat-like answers, but he did give trump a lot or rein when he went off on tangents and asked biden questions himself. He tried to rein in president of the united states when trump went way off topic and would not let biden talk.
4. Biden actually looked good when he said "I am the democrat party." He looked strong and in command. AOC and The Chest must have given him prior approval to say that. Same as when he said he did not support the green new deal. He supports the biden plan. This is one place where wallace should have said, "Um joe, is there a nickel's worth of difference between the green new deal and the biden plan, and didn't the biden plan just adopt virtually all of the GND ideas and put a new label on it?"

5. I couldn't shake the perception that while biden practiced debates for the last week, trump was on the campaign trail. Like the frat boy who refused to study because he already knew everything and there were things to do that were more fun. A few years ago i suspect virginia tech had the same attitude when james madison came to blacksburg for a football game. Don't ask me how that worked out...

6. Biden is an empty shell. He responded to questions like The Idiot and the idiots on this board. This just in; being vague makes you look stupid. Although in his case and the case of the idiots, looking momentarily stupid may be the lesser of two evils when compared to prolonging the agony with an "in depth" explanation of an inexplicable position.

7. Biden is the liar. How many times will he accuse trump of ignoring people with preexisting conditions in his HC plan? Trump has said many many times that precons will be respected and covered in his plan.

Biden would not answer about whether he'd pack the court. That he said, would be a distraction. Gutless worm that he is, he was like The Idiot or swamp rat with a pithy and pathetic LOL in response to a multi faceted post. (Look for those responses from the usual suspects here. And they needn't actually read this to post that response.)

Biden AGAIN brought up the discredited lie about trump calling the soldiers losers.

Biden had no credible answer to trump's question about the ex wife of moscow's mayor giving him $3.5mm. THIS is a point where wallace could have pressed biden a bit.

Biden had no response and was allowed to ignore, turmp's comment on the logan act that biden brought up with obama. THIS IS ANOTHER point where wallace could have and should have pressed.

Bottom line for me is that it went like i thought it would, only more so.

Trump was waaaay over the top and did not look good doing it, imo. Maybe he felt he needed to do that and maybe he was right. But from a strictly visual standpoint, he did not look good.

Trump was right on the issues, biden was soft, he lied and he was not pressed. Typically, conservatives are right on the issues and socialists are soft, vague, evasive. And not pressed by moderators.

It went about as i had predicted it would go.

The instant analysis from all the pundits and geniuses will likely say that biden was the big winner. He did not shlt himself like gonad-ler or run weeping into the dressing room. His answers were crap, but he didn't tell corn pop stories.

Saved by lower expectations.

So he was fabulous.

Trump was a rude bully who abused and had no respect for the process.

Fallout from this will happen over the next few days. I have no idea what the impact on voters will be.
