virulent forms but because they continue to mutate they will eventually mutate into a less harmful form.

There is really a very small window for a virus to be effective. If they are too strong they kill off their host before they can be spread which kills them off. If they are too weak they do not infect enough people to spread effectively and they die off.

If we cannot find a vaccine for this eventually nature will take care of it for us.
