no-knock warrant was obtained. If it was not a no-knock warrant, why did they have a battering ram at hand?

Why did they show up after midnight, when lights were out? How loudly did they knock and did they allow the occupants time to answer the door?

The purpose of the warrant was to surprise the victim and not allow her to flush drugs if they were present.
