The best part of this is Stan has to pay for all the legal costs of the league and its owners and I'm pretty sure will also have to pay any judgment eventually rendered in the case.
My honest guess is this will be settled out of court long before it goes to trial. I wouldn't be surprised if part of that included the NFL offering St. Louis an expansion team to lower their financial liability, but I'm not sure if the city is interested or if the league is if Stan will just have to pay everything anyway.
The NFL really screwed the pooch on this move though. It is not going to go well for them.
