applies to naturally occurring data sets. A Russian bot’s friends list is not naturally occurring. If Facebook used it to find out bots easily, I’m sure they could adapt. It’s also why the IRS won’t say that they use it because then people fudging taxes would follow it so they’re not red flagged.
