s. Alleged individual donors are never identified. Act Blue claims the donations arrive in the form of $100 gift cards and the names of the donors are not recorded or reported to the FEC. Reportedly, individuals who have donated $200 or more must be reported, but Act Blue pointedly does not inquire whether a donor has gifted up to the reportable limit. The dems have designed a nifty way to evade campaign funding regulations. It seems only a year of two ago they were very concerned how an individual candidate spent his own money, but now have no concern whether foreigners are donating to their candidate.
