road, and not on sidewalks.

But they aren't fast enough to not impede the flow of traffic, which is very dangerous.

And then a large % of them don't follow standard traffic rules either, while they are in the road.

The answer is dedicated bike lanes, but they're pretty uncommon in the US, and US drivers don't understand them and drive in them anyways.
