but then we do something different and it still doesn't happen, the only logical conclusion is that our changes were the thing that caused that thing that wasn't happening before to also not happen after.

other things i think we should all consider doing:

- no category 7 hurricane has ever hit mid-missouri, causing everyone there to drown. therefore i propose we all wear snorkels, because snorkels have long been a proven and effective tool to aid breathing while underwater, thus preventing drowning.

- aliens have not invaded earth. therefore everyone should wear a tinfoil hat, which we all know shields their mind-reading powers.

- alligator rape is a growing concern among many in the scientific community. studies indicate that there has been a steady rise in alligator rapes, which loosely correlates with the rise in popularity of twerking. therefore to keep us all safe from being raped by alligators, we all should stop twerking at once.


i realize that last one will be a big sacrifice for many of us, but trust me it's worth it. if we can prevent just one alligator rape by abandoning our god-given right to twerk, it's worth it.
