The Democrat Left thought they had achieved majority status with the election of O'Bama in 2008. Trump's election in 2016 came as a major shock to them.

Following Trump's election in 2016, the Democrats violated a basic unwritten rule of American politics. They didn't lick their wounds, go home and start preparing for the next election (See Nixon following Kennedy's theft of Illinois in 1960).

The Democrats immediately began to try to delegitimize Trump and his election. Nothing was off limits in their campaign against him, i.e. impeachment, foreign influence, violation of election laws, etc.

And now nothing is off limits in the current election, i.e. riots, looting, etc. They don't care about the country or its future. It's all about them regaining power. If you don't see that, . . ..
