Should I make picks when we are still two weeks away from Tiger Football? That's the question I've been asking myself and I don't have a great answer. But, I went 56-47 ATS last year so maybe I can have another winning year through dumb luck if nothing else.

I usually start out with a state of the world type thing when I post my picks but we all kinda know how things are going!

Things kinda suck, after 25 plus years of being an MU season ticket holder, I gave those up this year, and it's doubtful (that I attend a game live). If you choose to go cheer on your team, enjoy it a bit vicariously for me. I plan to be back in 2021.

Anyway, I'm going to start with an abbreviated list of picks and go from there.

CHARLOTTE (+17) vs. App State - hell I don't know? I'm going to say without the great Coach Drinkwitz, App State can't cover this big number.

NORTH CAROLINA (-23) vs. Syracuse - I listen to a lot of experts, apparently, Syracuse has become horrible pretty quickly after beating Clemson not all that long ago. How did this happen? Again, I don't know, MU isn't playing football yet soI am still getting caught up but I do like to fade bad teams against up and coming teams. I will give Mack Brown credit as I did not expect this to work out and he is doing a good job so far.

ARMY (-21.5) vs. ULM - Okay, so Monroe lost their DC and apparently can't practice because of COVID. That's why this line has moved quite a bit but it hasn't moved enough. (whispers, I had Army vs. MTSU for some "toothpicks") and I'll ride with them here.

COASTAL CAROLINA (+6.5) at ku - This week's version of the Hawaii game for folks to try to get even on. Again, no spring practice for ku and I'm pretty sure Les Miles is not someone I would want to bet on right now anyway. I'll roll with CCU (I guess that's the abbreviation?) to keep their winning ways intact here.

I liked K-State and the under but the line moved so NO PLAY there.

My favorite play of the week is LOUISIANA (+11.5) at Iowa State. I did some research on Billy Napier when we were considering him as a coach and I like how these guys run the ball. This game will be close and it should be anyone's game at the end.

As tough as our schedule is we had games vs. ULL and at BYU that were not great non-conference games in that they were hard but we weren't going to get a lot of credit for winning them anyway, so I say BRING ON ALABAMA!

That's all for this week! Good luck to your team, yourself and to all of us!
