Let's discuss the expected outcome.
Alabama wins the toss takes the ball (disrespect).
Scores on the first play from scrimmage, a 70+ yard dash.
Some in the stands are now saying 'I knew it! Phuck! Same ole shyte!'
First offensive series two good runs followed by an interception.
42-0 by the half.
3rd Quarter, Alabama forces a 3 and out followed by another single play drive for a touchdown.
From here Alabama puts in the 2nd string - the results are no better.
A late field goal is Mizzou's only score, final 70-3.
TB has a few already calling for Drink's head (typical).
Season started: 0-1.
Now, I expect the only people to be SHOCKED, I HOPE these people are SHOCKED at this outcome: the coaches and the players.
If the coaches and the players are SHOCKED at this outcome, I'm satisfied that Drink is kicking arse as a coach.
It's ridiculous to expect more than this, Alabama & LSU out of the gate, it's not really Drink's team until 2023 at least.
