Covid is passed in micro droplets from your mouth and nose. The mask prevents you from spreading most of your spit and snot, therefore it HELPS prevent the spread. It doesn’t keep you safe for the most part. Do you think it’s a good idea to cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze? I sure hope so. Same concept and yes there is a ton of evidence out there. Also, check the source when you read something saying it doesn’t work.
