That's pretty low compared to the rest of the country and to the rest of the world.
The CDC estimated the infection fatality rate to be .026% a month or two ago, I believe.
The case fatality rate seems to fluctuate quite a bit from state to state and country to country. Theoretically, that could be because some test more than others, but Missouri doesn't test more than most of the liberal east coast states and we have a lower CFR. Missouri is #30 in the US.
Some of it may be due to liberal states trying to inflate the numbers. Or perhaps it is doctors in more conservative states being more willing to use things hydroxycloroquine etc. A friend heard a southern Missouri doctor on the radio say that he was offering patients the option to take HQL or not. He said that none who did died. Missouri's department of whatever, on the other hand, following CDC guidelines sent out a notice to doctors that they should not prescribe HQL for COVID, and another to pharmacists asking that they consider not filling those prescriptions if they thought they were for COVID patients.
