Here confirmed only meant that they found other anonymous sources confirming parts of the story but even their sources would not go on record. What does that tell you?
Everyone who has gone on record had denied the story. This includes Bolton who despises the president.
Plus they only confirmed the most benign of the comments he was supposed to have said.
