illegal vote could be cast is if the voter used a different name.
As I showed you... if a voter requests an absentee ballot and then shows up to vote in person without surrendering their absentee ballot to be 'spoiled' by the poll worker, they are LAWFULLY allowed to vote using a PROVISIONAL BALLOT. Unless the State of NC violates their own procedures, that provisional ballot will only be counted once they determine the absentee ballot was not counted.
In either event, the voter has not broken any law by casting an absentee ballot and a provisional in person ballot.
