We're over 22% infection rate for the whole country, which is probably why the cases and new deaths have been lower in this 2nd wave than the 1st. It looks like the peak in new deaths per day was 2,256 (7 day moving avg) on April 21st, so we've dropped by quite a bit more than half already and it will undoubtedly continue to drop.
