and allows them to remain on the job - with unions that protect them.
The cops stopped the wrong guy (if there was a "right" guy) - tazed him and kicked him in the back, when he had peacefully surrendered. The cop wasn't fired because he didn't cause "great bodily harm" - he should have been charged with assault and fired.
Allowing cops like that to wear a uniform, endangers the good cops. That guy is never going to trust a cop again (if he did before.)
