who, until recently, aligned more with Democrat policies.
I'm pro-choice, I think upper-class citizens like myself should pay their "fair share" in taxes (via reasonable marginal tax rates), and I generally disagree with several core policy positions of the right. I've long said Bill Clinton is the best president we've had in at least half a century.
Unfortunately, the democrat party has changed. It's moved so far left that it no longer represents the interests of independents and moderates like myself. Instead, it's become the party of radical left-wing ideologues and extremists who want socialist anti-American redistribution of wealth and power; mainly, from whites who earned it to minorities who didn't.
Today's democrats don't care about America's future or prosperity — they only care about power (for white democrats) or crushing whites and serving minorities (for non-white democrats).
In 2020, the closest thing to a 90's era Bill Clinton-type agenda are... moderates in the Republican party. In fact, Trump used to be a Democrat before the party went rogue, radical, extreme, and marxist (like Iam4Mizzou, evidently).
