IMO the NBA experience factor matters more than you think

He can say he's coached against Michael Jordan and tell players he uses the exact same drills that the Golden State Warriors use. Has guys on staff like Earl Boykins who have a ton of NBA connections. One of our assistant coaches was the lead analyst/scout for the Lakers.

I know a lot of schools have that these days but it's a complete 180 from Mike Anderson. Arkansas shouldn't be a difficult place to recruit to in basketball - Muss had a top 10 class of all Arkansas kids. The fan support, facilities and history are better than most schools, even John Pelphrey had a top 10 class once. Anderson was kinda like Bielema in that he tried to run an outdated style/philosophy in an era where the game had moved on...Muss is really into social media and knows how to relate to kids today.
