the maximum possible sentence for it. Totally unjustified. Hell, if it is then any cop could shoot anybody on the street with his back turned to him.

I mean, that person COULD be getting a gun out to shoot the cop.

When the hell are they going to learn. And if they're that goddam scared...DON'T BE A ****ING COP.
