to be a cop you are agreeing that you are putting your life on the line, and that you don't always get to shoot first.
I have enormous empathy for the police. They have one of the hardest jobs in the country, and the vast majority do it very, very well. But deadly force is not a trifle, and you can't use it just because you're afraid an unarmed man "might" do something. Wait till he's armed, then fill him full of holes. But you've got to wait. That's the chance you take when you put on the uniform.
